Rick Reiss, President
Rick Reiss joined the Board in 2012 and also serves on the Hospice Building Committee. Rick returned to New Mexico with his family in 1992. His two children graduated from Los Alamos High School and are pursuing their careers in Texas. Two grandchildren brighten up the family!
Rick is active in the community as a member of Kiwanis and as a County Council Chair. Health care options and quality services are important to Rick and he believes the Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service provides both.
Jeri Bishop, Vice President
Jeri is our Vice President, she joined the Board in 2013. She is married and enjoys traveling in her free time. Jeri is employed by Del Norte Credit Union.
Loyda Martinez, Secretary/Treasurer
Loyda joined the Board of Directors in July of 2015. Loyda retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory and in her free time enjoys gardening, loves politics and particiaptes in community groups.
Kirk Ellard, Member
Born in Santa Fe, Kirk moved to Los Alamos in 1977 after serving in the Army and attending graduate school studying engineering. He raised his two children, Shane and Stephanie, while working at the Laboratory and with several subcontractors. He is now retired. He has seven grandchildren; five of whom live in Los Alamos. His hobbies are reading, sports, and outdoor activities.
Tammy Thorn, Member
Tammy is a well know figure in Los Alamos and beloved by many. She is a long term board member who is valued by the board for many reasons; one is her incredible financial expertise. Tammy is employed by New Mexico Bank and Trust.
Denise Terrazas, Member
Denise is the newest member to our Board. Denise has assisted LAVNS in various capacities over the years and we are very happy to have her now serving on our Board. She is the Owner / President at Title Guaranty, LLC in Los Alamos.
